This policy explains what information HIGHS Beauty ("we", "us") collects when you apply to and take part in the HIGHS Beauty Affiliate Program, why we collect it, and who we share it with.
1. What we collect
- Application details: your name, email address, country, password, and any profile information you choose to give us such as your website, social handles, or promotional channel.
- Tracking data: when a customer arrives through your affiliate link or uses a coupon code we assigned to you, we record the referral — the order value, the date, and the commission generated. This is linked to your affiliate account, not to the customer's identity in any report you can see.
- Payout details: the payment method you select and the account details needed to pay you, such as a bank account name or number, or your store credit balance.
- Communications: messages you send us and notifications we send you.
2. Why we collect it
- To assess your application and administer your affiliate account.
- To attribute referrals correctly and calculate the commission you have earned.
- To pay you, and to keep records of payments made.
- To detect and prevent fraud, self-dealing, and abuse of the Program.
- To contact you about the Program, including changes to rates or terms.
3. Who we share it with
- Our affiliate platform provider (UpPromote), which hosts the affiliate system and processes referrals, commission and payout records on our behalf.
- Shopify, which operates the highs.beauty store and processes orders.
- Payment providers and banks, as needed to send you money.
- Professional advisers or authorities, where we are legally required to disclose.
We do not sell your personal information.
4. What we do not collect
We do not receive your customers' personal data through the Program. We do not see the identity of customers who buy using your link — only that a referral happened and what it was worth. You are responsible for making sure your own audience communications comply with the privacy and marketing laws that apply to you.
5. How long we keep it
We keep your affiliate records for as long as your account is active and afterwards for the period required to satisfy accounting, tax and legal obligations.
6. Your choices
You may ask us for a copy of the information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it where we are not required to keep it. Contact us at the address above. Deleting your account information may end your ability to receive future commission on past referrals.
7. Security
We take reasonable steps to protect your information, including access controls on the affiliate system. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. Keep your affiliate password confidential and tell us immediately if you suspect unauthorised access to your account.
8. Changes
We may update this policy. Material changes will be posted here with a new "Last updated" date. Continued participation after a change means you accept it.
